PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced concrete member capable of improving yield strength. SOLUTION: This reinforced concrete member is constituted, by arranging a plurality of annular shearing reinforcing bars 32 in parallel to a surface orthogonal to the material axial direction around main reinforcements 31 arranged in a plurality in the material axial direction. At this time, the shearing reinforcing bars 32 are formed in a cross-sectional substantially rectangular shape, and the long side 32B is arranged in the direction orthogonal to the material axial direction. Since flexural rigidity in the direction parallel to the material axial direction becomes higher than flexural rigidity in the direction orthogonal to the material axial direction, the main reinforcements 31 can be further firmly restricted more than the cross-sectional circular shearing reinforcing bars having the same cross-sectional area. Thus, the shearing reinforcing bars 32 surely reinforce the main reinforcements 31 and concrete even to large deformation of the reinforced concrete member, to thereby improve yield strength of the reinforced concrete member.
