PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-island conjugate fiber resistant to fibrillation and peeling in a process such as weaving, knitting, carding and needle punching and provide a spinneret for the production of the fiber. SOLUTION: The multi-island conjugate fiber is composed of at least 2 polymer components A, B. The number of the islands of the island-forming component A is≥30 and the t/d ratio is 0.03-0.10 at the outermost circumference of the cross-section of the fiber composed exclusively of the sea-forming component B wherein (t) is the minimum thickness of the part composed exclusively of the sea component B and (d) is the mean diameter of the conjugate fiber. The conjugation weight ratio of the fiber is 20-80%. The spinneret for forming the multi-island conjugate fiber has an island number of≥30 and has≥16 holes for introducing exclusively the component B at the outer circumference of the introducing hole of the core-sheath conjugate flow in addition to the introducing hole of the core-sheath conjugate flow. The outer circumference of the sea-island conjugate flow composed of the aggregate of core-sheath conjugate streams is further covered with the sea component B by the spinneret.
