PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning frame wherein a vertical plate and a back plate are easily welded without the usage of a tab, and the back plate is also easily worked. SOLUTION: This turning frame is provided with a pair of the right and left vertical plates 5 having an inclined surface 7 with a height getting smaller toward the rear from the front, and the back plates 8 attached to the vertical plates 5. A longitudinal slit 24 is provided on a front end side of the back plate 8, the vertical plate 5 is inserted into the slit 24 with the back plate 8 placed on the inclined surface 7, and a welded part 31 surrounded therearound is formed in a slit inner part. A front end part 29 of the back plate 8 crosses the vertical plate 5 in a side view, and an upper surface 29a of the front end part 29 is positioned on a lower part of an upper surface of the vertical plate 5.
