PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular refrigeration cycle device that offers a heating function due to hot gas heater cycle while simplifying the arrangement of a cycle pipe. SOLUTION: This vehicular refrigeration cycle device can switch between a refrigeration cycle C for cooling and a hot gas heater cycle H. A pressure reducing device comprises a thermostatic expansion valve 17. An evaporator 5 is arranged in a cabin 2. A compressor 10, a radiator 14 at a high-pressure side and the thermostatic expansion valve 17 are arranged in an engine room 1. An outlet side of a throttle passage 45 of the thermostatic expansion valve 17 is connected to an inlet side of the evaporator 5. An outlet side of a hot gas bypass pipe 15 joins an outlet side of the throttle passage 45 in the engine room 1. In the thermostatic expansion valve 17, the vicinity of a first pressure chamber 56 of at least a temperature-sensitive pressure chamber is covered with a heat-insulating material 24.
