PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating tool of which the coating part has a porous fiber structure and is integrated with a handle part as a liquid coating tool excellent in liquid absorbing and discharging properties. SOLUTION: A handle-integrated coating tool is formed by providing a coating part on at least one end of a hand part. The coating part and the handle part are composed of a mushroom-like porous fiber structure containing adhesive crimped fibers of 10% by mass or more. The tool is characterised in that the mushroom-like porous fiber structure is formed by mutually entwining and fusing the adhesive crimped fibers, and the coating part has a reticular region with an apparent density of 0.15 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or less and the handle part has a fibber-bundle fused region with an apparent density of 0.25 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or less.
