PURPOSE: A glass shifter for a flat display panel is provided to safely shift a panel even in case that the panel descends due to weakened flotage, thereby preventing a defect from occurring. CONSTITUTION: A glass shifter for a flat display panel includes a plurality of chambers(1) to which fluid is supplied, a plurality of fluid vent members(3) venting the supplied fluid to float the panel, and a plurality rolling members(5) provided at one side of the chambers or the fluid vent members. The panel is floated by the fluid vented through the fluid vent members. A part of the panel is slid in contact with the rolling members if the panel descends at a portion where flotage of the fluid is weakened, so that the panel continues to shift, thereby reducing scratch.
