<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner improved in heat exchanging efficiency by equalizing quantity of the air flowing into a heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, a nearly L-shaped flow dividing plate 15 is fitted, facing to a suction opening 7 communicated with a suction duct 6, to partition a fan casing 2a by surrounding an upper side and a back side thereof and to divide a flow of the air, which is supplied from the suction duct, to equally distribute to each of intake holes 2b of the fan casing, and the air flowing through the suction duct is divided by the flow dividing plate, and equally distributed to a plurality of intake holes. With this structure, air can be equally fed from an air-blow opening 10 to a heat exchanger chamber 4a to improve heat exchanging efficiency, and equal temperature and equal quantity of conditioned air is blown to a blow-out duct 13 to eliminate the generation of uncomfortableness to a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
