摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which chroma in a transmissive region can be matched with that in a reflective region in a liquid crystal display element by applying respectively different common voltages to the transmissive region and the reflective region. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is composed of: a first substrate 301 having a plurality of the transmissive regions II and a plurality of the reflective regions I, transmission electrodes 34 placed in the transmissive regions II; reflection electrodes 33 placed in the reflective regions I and electrically connected to the transmission electrodes 34; a second substrate 302 having a plurality of first common electrodes 37 placed on the upper side corresponding to the transmissive regions II and a plurality of second common electrodes 36 not electrically connected to the first common electrodes 37 placed on the upper side corresponding to the reflective regions I; a liquid crystal layer 39 placed between the first substrate 301 and the second substrate 302. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
