<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a display device having different display models at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In a TFT dot matrix type liquid crystal display device 10 having unit pixels 14 having an identical shape, a display part comprises a dot display part 15 consisting of the respective unit pixels and a fixation display part 17 consisting of an assembly of the unit pixels, display of the dot display part 15 is performed individually by respective unit pixels and display of the fixation display part 17 is performed cooperatively by all the unit pixels in the fixation display part and a grid-like black mask 13 demarcating the unit pixels and a sacrificial black mask 16 demarcating the fixation display part 17 are disposed at a counter substrate 12 opposed to an TFT array substrate 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
