PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION METHOD AND PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent identification accuracy from being lowered even when external light is projected in an iris image in personal identification utilizing iris recognition. SOLUTION: A plurality of iris images in different external light projecting positions are captured by a photographing device for a person to be identified (A1). Iris codes which are feature amounts for recognition, are extracted from the captured plurality of iris images (A2), and the extracted plurality of iris codes are collated with registered iris codes to create a plurality of collated results (A3).
