摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for manufacturing at low cost a macromolecular optical waveguide in which the refractive index of the optical waveguide core is tilted to the core center. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a macromolecular optical waveguide includes the stages of (1) preparing a mold which is formed of a set layer of setting resin for mold formation and which has a recess corresponding to an optical waveguide core projection part, (2) bringing a base material for a clad into close contact with the mold, (3) charging two or more kinds of setting resins for core formation each having a different refractive index at the time of setting, into the recess of the mold with which the material for a clad is brought into close contact, from a multiple-structured pouring head having a concentric circular or a concentric polygonal cross section, (4) setting the charged setting resin for core formation, (5) releasing the mold from the base material for the clad, and (6) forming a clad layer on the base material for the clad where a core is formed.
