PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof tile having a ventilation layer between a roof surface and the roof tile, and a ventilation structure of a roof using the roof tile. SOLUTION: The projecting height of a locking projection arranged on the hip part reverse of a roof tile body being a main body of the roof tile, is formed larger than the thickness of a positioning member to a sheathing roof board surface of the roof tile body; and is constituted by forming the tip grounding on the sheathing roof board surface of the locking projection as a plane. Thus, the ventilation layer can be arranged between the sheathing roof board surface and the roof tile reverse, and the roof tile can stably be positioned on the sheathing roof board surface.
