PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine ensuring that a lid (an outer lid) can be opened and closed better. SOLUTION: A plurality of bar members 31A extending in a lateral direction are connected to be parallel with one another by a flexible member to compose the outer lid 31 bendable between the respective bar members 31A.
