PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a threshing feed chain 1, a first screw conveyor 23, a second screw conveyor 24, a shaking selection apparatus 21 and a waste straw shredding apparatus 50 by simple structure. SOLUTION: The thresher with a waste straw shredding apparatus has constitution wherein the same transmission belt 84 is wound around an output pulley 82 supported on the revolving spindle 46 of a winnower 46, the input pulley 23a of the first screw conveyor 23, the input pulley 24a of the second screw conveyor 24, a selection drive pulley 21a for driving the shaking selection apparatus 21 and the shredding input pulley 58 of the waste straw shredding apparatus 50. The shredding drive part 94 of the waste straw shredding apparatus 50 transmits the driving force of the shredding input pulley 58 to a cutting shaft 53 and reduces the speed of the cutting shaft 53 and transmits the driving force to a feed shaft 54.
