<p>A door closing device of a sliding door, particularly, capable of forcibly pulling the sliding door to a door closing side end part and properly decelerating the speed of the sliding door immediately before completing the closing of the sliding door by positioning the device in proximity to the door closing side end part of the sliding door to improve a door closing operation in the sliding doors of various types of storage furniture such as cupboards, bookshelves, and showcases. A hook member (2) is rotatably fitted to a sliding member (1) sliding in a proper area in a casing (A) installed at the end part of a guide rail (17), and the sliding member (1) is energized to a door closing side through an elastic member (3). A guide running body (B) running along the guide rail (17) is moved in the sliding area of the sliding member (1) in the door closing direction from the state thereof locked to the hook member (2) by a resistance force (T) by a buffering member (4) reducing the elastic force of the elastic member (3).</p> |
