There are provided a content providing system and method, a content providing device and method, a content reception device and method, a recording medium, and a program capable of providing a transaction content at a low cost. A plurality of broadcast devices put a trigger content in the program content and broadcast it via a satellite to digital teleeion receivers. The broadcast devices broadcast a trasnaction content which is displayed when the trigger content of a pluraltiy of broadcast devices is turned on by a plurality of digital televeion redeivers. The present invention can be applied to a digital television broadcast system.
