摘要

PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting leakage current of medical implements to prevent malpractices and a control device thereof are provided to minimize an influence to a patient by sensing accurately the amount of current applied to each of electrical outlets. CONSTITUTION: An UPS(1) provides power to each of electrical outlets(3) and includes ground terminals(4). A leakage current sensing unit is connected to each of the electrical outlets and the ground terminals in order to sense the amount of input and output currents of medical instrument between 1mA to 15mA. A power control unit controls the supply power. An indication unit(7) indicates leakage states by using images and alarm sound according to a sensed result of the leakage current sensing unit. A central control center(8) is connected to the leakage current sensing unit, the indication unit, and the power control unit.
