PURPOSE: A device for testing a GPS receiving performance in a mobile communication terminal is provided to generate a satellite tracking message in a base station equipment, and to wirelessly transmit the generated message to a terminal instead of using a data cable, thereby more easily and exactly testing a GPS receiving performance. CONSTITUTION: A GPS signal generator(40) generates a GPS signal having a corresponding signal level according to a signal intensity control of a computer(35), and transmits the generated GPS signal to a mobile communication terminal(31) through a testing antenna(32) within a chamber(30). A base station equipment(50) generates a position tracking message while setting a traffic channel with the terminal(31) through the testing antenna(32), periodically transmits the message to the terminal(31), and checks a GPS receiving performance of the terminal(31) by confirming whether a response message is received.
