SLUDGE COLLECTOR DRIVING APPARATUS FOR REDUCING DRUM SIZE AND INSTALLATION SPACE BY USING TWO DRUMS TO EASILY APPLY DRUMS TO SEDIMENTATION BASIN WITH NARROW WIDTH AND LONG LENGTH

PURPOSE: To provide a sludge collector driving apparatus for reducing size of drum and distance between drum and take up roller so that the drum is easily installed in a sedimentation basin with narrow width and long length, preventing a wire rope from being separated from the take up roller and preventing the take up roller from being worn out. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for driving sludge collector of sedimentation basin comprises rails(2) installed on the bottom of the sedimentation basin(1); underwater transfer cars(3) installed on the rails and moved forward and backward; a scraper(4) installed at the underwater transfer cars to collect settled sludge by a collection part(1a); and a wire rope(5) for reciprocating the underwater transfer cars forward and backward, the apparatus further comprises a housing(10) fixed to a slab(1b) of the sedimentation basin; a driving drum(20) and a driven drum(30) respectively mounted on inner both sides of the housing rotatably and vertically to pull the wire rope; a speed reduction motor(40) vertically installed on the housing to drive the driving drum forward and reversely; sprocket wheels(S1,S2) respectively axially installed on the driving drum and the driven drum and connected to each other by a chain; and a take up roller(50) disposed perpendicularly to one side of the driven drum to impart tension to the wire rope.
