RECORDING MEDIUM, REPRODUCTION DEVICE, RECORDING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND REPRODUCTION METHOD

An AVClip obtained by multiplexing a moving picture stream and a graphics stream is recorded in the BD-ROM. The graphics stream is a string of PES packets. The PES packets may be ODS (Object Define Segment) containing graphics data or PCS (Presentation Control Segment) containing control information. The PCS indicates that graphics data contained in the ODS preceding the PCS is combined with the moving picture stream at a predetermined timing and displayed. The PCS and the ODS belong to separate display sets. The ODS may be non-reference graphics data not referenced by t he PCS in the same display set.
