<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission device excellent in performance for both an alternator and a starter. <P>SOLUTION: Grease is sealed in the inner space 34 of a clutch in which rollers 7 forming a roller clutch 3 are installed. The base oil of the grease contains aromatic ester or thioether. Also, the grease contains the aromatic ester or the thioether of 30 mass% or more of the total quantity of the base oil, and a thickener formed of a urea compound of 5 to 35 mass% of the total quantity of the grease.
