ELECTROLYTE AND BATTERY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte and a battery using it wherein battery characteristics such as battery capacity, cycle characteristic, and storage characteristic can be improved.

SOLUTION: This battery is provided with a wound electrode body 20 around which a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are wound via a separator 23. An electrolytic solution containing a solvent and electrolyte salts is impregnated into the separator 23. As the electrolyte salts, a light metal salt such as difluoro [oxalato-O,O'] lithium borate, tetrafluoro [oxalato-O,O'] lithium phosphate, LiPF6, and other Li salt other than these are mixed and used. By this, efficiency in the negative electrode 22 is improved, increase of internal resistance is suppressed, and the battery characteristics are improved.
