<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trace a user inserting bills which are not true bills into an ATM. <P>SOLUTION: In the ATM provided with a bill receiving function, a judgment units discriminates the money sorts and authentication of bills inserted by a user and bill information is collected and stored in a DB 41 for search purpose correspondingly to a user's account number or the like (first data). The bill information of a bill discriminated as a false bill by the judgment unit is stored in a tracing DB 42 (second data).
