PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking heater capable of realizing the energy saving, the quick heating and the temperature controllability with respect to the cooking heater heated by a heater element. SOLUTION: As this cooking heater comprises a cooking plate composed of the crystallized glass 2 and the heater element 7 directly mounted on a rear face of the cooking plate, and the heater element 7 is pressed to the crystallized glass 2 by an insulating material 8, the energy saving performance and the quick heating performance can be realized, and the temperature controllability can be improved by directly printing a temperature detecting means 13 on the crystallized glass 2.
