PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the backup to an optimum storage server suitable to a selection condition, when backing up a database, while preserving data integrity. SOLUTION: The data server 101 makes an inquiry to a management server 102 about an unplanned secondary server with a first storage server 103a as a primary backup destination by a backup destination inquiry part 201. The storage server selection part 204 of the management server 102 reports a second storage server 103b selected based on the preset selection condition to the data server 101 through a reporting part 205. The data server 101 transmits data content in the database to the first storage server 103a and second storage server 103b reported from the management server 102 from a data transmitting part 203b to back up them.
