PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect presence of a person in a room and to prevent behavior supervision from being hampered by neglected or erroneous operation. SOLUTION: A radio wave sensor generates a detection signal based on a Doppler frequency between transmission radio wave and reflection wave emitted by a reflector mounted on a door of a bathroom, or on a human body in the bathroom. A microprocessor observes the motion of the object at the door and in the room through the change in the waveform of the detection signal to detect the entry into or exit from the bathroom of a person.
