PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of preventing deterioration of heat exchanging performance by securing smooth flow of fluid even if a part of an end surface edge is crushed. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 is provided with a first and a second fluid communication chambers 12 and 13 having an inlet header chamber 14 and an outlet header chamber 2, into/from which a first and a second fluid flow, and a heat exchanger chamber 16 for communicating both the header chambers with each other, and an inner fin 9 is arranged in each of the fluid communication chambers 12 and 13. The inner fin 9 is arranged so that the top surface thereof on an inlet header chamber 14 side is arranged through a fluid communication space 19 interposed between the inner wall surface 14a of the inlet header chamber 14.
