PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high signal to noise ratio combustion pressure sensor receiving small effect of external electric noise or the like. SOLUTION: A conversion circuit 22 converting electric charge generated by a piezoelectric element 122 to voltage signal is provided in the combustion pressure sensor. Electric charge generated by the piezoelectric element 122 is not transmitted to an ECU 4 as it is, but is transmitted to the ECU 4 after converted to voltage signal insusceptible to electric noise by the conversion circuit mounted in the combustion pressure sensor. Consequently, the sensor become insusceptible to electric noise or the like and sound to noise ratio can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
