PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form no un-coated part extended along in the running direction of a running object to be coated or make the width of an un-coated part extremely narrow if it is formed when coating is carried out for the object to be coated by a dot-coating head. SOLUTION: The coating apparatus is provided with a running route R1 for an object to be coated and a dot-coating head 2 for jetting liquid droplet toward the running route R1 from jetting outlets 2a for application and the dot-coating head 2 comprises a plurality of jetting outlet groups 2b for application each of which has jetting outlets 2a for application at prescribed intervals P along the direction (in the direction shown with an arrow B) crossing the running direction (in the direction shown with an arrow A) of the running route R1 and which are arranged along the running direction (in the direction shown with the arrow A) and the jetting out lets 2a for application are prevented from arrangement in a row along the running direction (in the direction shown with the arrow A) by displacing E neighboring jetting outlet groups 2b, 2b for application in the crossing direction (in the direction shown with the arrow B).
