PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher with which threshing and selecting abilities are inexpensively constituted in a different state. SOLUTION: The thresher for a combine harvester has constitution that a threshing part structure 17a having a threshing chamber 11, a threshing cylinder 12 and a receiving net 13 and a selection part structure 28 having a selection chamber, a shaking selection device 21, a first conveyor and a second conveyor are separately made and are connected by threshing selection connection lines A1 and A2. The threshing selection connection line A1 is positioned between machine walls 16a and 25 at a side where the threshing port 14 of the threshing part structure 17a and the selection part structure 28 is positioned. The threshing selection connection line A2 is positioned between machine walls 16b and 25 at a side opposite to the side of the threshing port 14 of the threshing part structure 17a and the selection part structure 28. The lower end 62 of the horizontal sidewall 16b at a side opposite to a side where the threshing port 14 in the threshing part machine walls is positioned is arranged at a level higher than the lower end 61 of the horizontal sidewall 16a at a side where the threshing port 14 is positioned.
