AIR CONDITIONER RESTRAINING RADIATION OF REFRIGERANT OF OUTDOOR HEAT EXCHANGER TO OUTSIDE AIR

PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to restrain radiation of a refrigerant of an outdoor heat exchanger to outside air by preventing the refrigerant of a downstream side of the outdoor heat exchanger from moving into the outdoor heat exchanger, and from moving backward to the outdoor heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor heat exchanger(14) is installed outside for exchanging heat of a refrigerant passing an indoor heat exchanger(17) with outside air for evaporating the refrigerant. A first opening and shutting valve(71) opens and shuts an upstream side of the outdoor heat exchanger in heating operation. A second opening and shutting valve(72) opens and shuts a downstream side of the outdoor heat exchanger in heating operation. A control unit(75) shuts the first and second opening and shutting valves when a temperature of the outside air is lower than a set temperature in heating operation.
