PURPOSE: A vertical sliding type parking system is provided to park many vehicles in a narrow area safely, to park and depart vehicles rapidly by lifting up and down pallets by turns, to heighten safety by restraining the load against on the vehicular load to the minimum and to move and park vehicles easily by reducing the time required for moving pallets to the minimum. CONSTITUTION: The vertical sliding type parking system comprises a main hangar body(10) provided with many hangars(11) with the open front and coupled with a rope(12) rolled and unrolled repeatedly according to the rotation of a driving shaft(13a), and a pallet(20) lifting up and down by turns according to the movement of the rope(12) coupled to both rear ends of the main hangar body(10) and provided with a pair of conveyors(30) for vehicles installed parallel on the upper part. In the main hangar body(10), many square hangars(11) form a multi-storied structure and supported on a frame(10a) installed vertically on the ground, a pair of conveyors(15) are installed on the base of each hangar(11), and a rope driving motor(13) is fixed on the upper part of the main hangar body(10) to make the rope(12) rolled around or the driving shaft(13a). The pallet(20) is provided with a roller bearing(21), supported on the frame(10a) of the main hangar body(10) and moved along the frame to make the pallet(20) reciprocated vertically, a reinforcing plate installed on the base of the pallet(20) and fixed with an auxiliary roller to transfer the vehicular load on the pallet(20) to the frame through the reinforcing plate.
