In the Figure. bottles carried in paths 1, 2, ... 10 of a conveyer fall on to conveyer belt 13 when released by stop members b 1 , b 2 ... b 10 , the bottles falling into two groups laterally offset from each other so that as they are moved by the conveyer belt away from the drop zone and then guided into a single row in the centre of the belt by guides 11, 12, a second group of 10 bottles may be dropped when the bottles 6-10 of the first group dropped are in alignment with the drop zone of bottles 1-5 after clearing their own drop zone.</p> |
