<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for preventing customer information from being leaked when controller boards are exchanged. <P>SOLUTION: Data stored in an NVM 5B of a exchanging source controller board 1B are written in an NVM 5A of a exchanging destination controller board 1A, and the data stored in the NVM 5B of the exchanging source controller board 1B is erased after the end of writing the data into the NVM 5A of the exchanging destination controller board 1A to thereby be able to prevent the data in the NVM from being leaked to the outside. Even though there is a large possibility that a control means of the exchanging source can not operate due to a failure, etc., in the case of exchanging controller boards, the exchanging source controller board 1B is connected to the exchanging destination controller board 1A mounted on the image processor, and the exchanging destination controller board 1A reads the data stored in the exchanging source controller 1B to thereby be able to prevent the occurrence of a problem that the data can not be read out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
