<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which high-grade images are stably and continuously provided without causing image defects even in a high-speed process, as an image forming method which uses a developing device adopting a so-called trickle developing system and in which a residual toner recovered by a cleaning means from the surface of an electrostatic latent image carrier is returned to the inside of a development section or a toner replenishment section through a toner recovery device and reused as a recycled toner, and to provide an image forming method in which cleaning properties by a cleaning means are stabilized and properties as an electrostatic latent image carrier can be maintained over a prolonged period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method for performing image formation with an image forming apparatus including a charging means, an electrostatic latent image forming device, a developing device, a transfer means, a cleaning means and a fixing device, the developing device properly replenishes a developer for replenishment containing a toner and a carrier to the inside of a developing vessel and includes a developer recovery mechanism for recovering an excess of the developer from the inside of the developing vessel, a toner recovered from an electrostatic latent image carrier is reused as a recycled toner, and a percentage of the recycled toner in the whole quantity of a replenished toner replenished to a developer is ≥15 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
