<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a large number of radio data carriers at a time in a short time in a compact space. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a turntable 4 where a plurality of radio data carriers 7 to be recognized are placed, a turntable driving motor 5 which rotates the turntable 4 in one direction, and a plurality of antennas 2A to 2D which are arrayed on the turntable 4 along the rotating direction of the turntable 4 and uses partial space areas above the turntable 4 as recognition areas respectively. A radio tag reader 1 recognizes the radio data carriers 7 placed on the turntable 4 by activating the individual antennas 2A to 2D sequentially in the direction opposite to the turning direction of the turntable 4 as the turntable 4 rotates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
