<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high definition and high aperture ratio picture display device constituted of a plurality of display panels which are arrayed so that the joints are inconspicuous. <P>SOLUTION: At least a 1st display panel 101a and a 2nd display panel 101b are arrayed to constitute a picture display device 100 for displaying a picture. The 1st display panel 101a and the 2nd display panel 101b respectively have a plurality of pixels 203 provided at a prescribed pixel pitch P.
