<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the electromagnetic coupling between the primary and secondary coils of a transformer at the start of using with no special structure employed, and to allow a user to recognize that the coupling is in a proper state. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact power transmission arrangement comprises a power transmission device 5, a transformer 6, a power receiving device 7, and an alignment device 8. The power transmission device 5 generates an AC signal of the prescribed frequency to be transmitted. The transformer 6 efficiently transmits the power generated at the power transmission device 5 to the power receiving device 7 side. The alignment detecting device 8 detects whether the relative positional relationship between a primary coil 61 and a secondary coil 62 of the transformer 6 is correct or not, based on the output voltage of an output rectification circuit 71. It informs correctness to a user by illumination of a light emitting diode LED. Thus, at the start of use, the electromagnetic coupling between the primary and secondary coils of the transformer is optimized, and whether or not it is in a proper state can be recognized by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
