<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause information limited to specific pages, channels or the like, to be extracted on the basis of on predetermined references and displayed when pages, channels or the like are changed. <P>SOLUTION: In an intermediate content presentation device 100, a communication part 120 is in communication with an external device via a network to receive information on contents and on the browsing of the contents over the network, with the information stored in a storage part 130. Of the pages of the contents to be stored, a page output part 160 outputs predetermined pages including the pages designated by a user via a man-machine interface (MMI) 110. Based on the information on the browsing of the contents over the network, a process control part 140 extracts not more than a predetermined number of frequently browsed pages from the pages between the current page and the page to be changed, and designates the extracted pages as the pages to be outputted by the page output part 160.
