<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the taste/interest of a user who has made a contract as a client from being easily analyzed by concealing the time information of a streaming program. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving/reproducing device 1 at a client side consists of request generating parts 11, 12, and 16 which generate a request of program data desired to be reproduced and a request of dummy program data being the data of at least a portion of the other arbitrary programs, and of a reproducing device 13.
