<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial two-wheel vehicle capable of travelling safely and stably even when the center of gravity position of an occupant moves. <P>SOLUTION: The coaxial two-wheel vehicle comprises a pair of wheels, a wheel axle bridged between the pair of wheels, a base tiltably supported on the wheel axle, a pair of motors for driving each of the pair of wheels are mounted to the base and are used for driving the pair of wheels, respectively, and a controller for sending an operation command to the pair of motors for driving. The base is provided with a load detecting means for detecting a position and weight of the load on the base, and the controller sends a travel command to the pair of motors in response to the position of the load. At this time, the controller does not send the travel command when the position of the load lies in a stop region corresponding to a grounding region of the wheel with the road surface, and sends the travel command for forcibly decelerating and stopping the motorcycle when the position of the load lies in a deceleration region near a side edge of the base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
