摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a connector integrated polymer optical waveguide having excellent structural stability in a small number of processes at a low cost, and to provide the mold. SOLUTION: The connector integrated polymer optical waveguide comprises a polymer optical waveguide having a core and a clad layer formed on a clad film substrate, a pair of connector sleeves disposed in the position where the optical waveguide core is interposed at the end of the optical waveguide, and a rigid member for forming the connector. The film substrate and the sleeves are fixed to the rigid member with the core center and the sleeve center almost aligned along one straight line. The mold is made of a hardened resin layer of a hardening resin for forming a mold, and has a recess corresponding to the projection of the core and recesses for mounting a pair of sleeves. The manufacturing method includes processes of producing the polymer optical waveguide and adhering the sleeves and the film to the rigid member by using such a mold that when the sleeves are mounted on the recesses for sleeve mount, the centers of the sleeves and the center of the recess corresponding to the projection of the core are almost aligned along one straight line.
