PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watt-hour meter and a portable data collector reduced in the number of image screens for confirming a meter check value, and enhanced in working efficiency of an inspecting person, and a data processor used for processing data therein. SOLUTION: This electronic watt-hour meter 1 is constituted of a metering means for obtaining an electric energy data, a control means for compressing the electric energy data by coding to obtain an electric energy compressed value, and a display means for displaying the electric energy data. Usual screens a-f for displaying the electric energy data by decimal numbers, and a compression value screen g for displaying the plurality of electric energy compressed values on one screen are provided to be switchably displayed, in a liquid crystal display (display means) 2 of the electronic watt-hour meter 1.
