<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VDSL testing system for simplifying the setting of a VDSL device and the investigating when a failure is generated, its VTU-O/R and a VDSL testing method. <P>SOLUTION: This VDSL testing system using an HDLC frame is provided with a plurality of VTU-0100 in a station each of which isolates a console in a test in a station, sets the value of the address sent to itself in an address field, the designated value of a loop-back in a control field and test data as specific data, assembles and transmits an HDLC frame to a VDSL line 300, decomposes the received HDLC frame and, when detecting the designated value of the loop-back in the control field and the value of the address sent to itself in the address field, displays the collation results of test data. This VDSL testing system is also provided with a plurality of VTU-R 200 in the house connected through the VDSL line oppositely to a plurality of VTU-O, and decomposes the HDLC frame received from the opposite VTU-O and, when detecting the designated value of the loop-back in the control field, isolates the console, transmits the received HDLC frame to the opposite VTU-O in return. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
