<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a purge material treatment apparatus compact. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling medium passage (consisting of a central passage 211a and an outer peripheral passage 211b) is provided in a molding roller and a vortex tube 43 is connected to the interior of the cooling medium passage. Then, cooling air is allowed to flow through the cooling medium passage from the vortex tube 43 to cool the molding roller. Therefore, a purge material is molded by the molding roller while cooled and a constitution required in cooling such as a cooling tank or the like can be omitted.
