PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted navigation apparatus for searching for a detouring route arriving at a destination more quickly by detecting a low-speed vehicle in front of an own vehicle. SOLUTION: Communication between vehicles is made to acquire the drive state information of other vehicles, and the presence or absence of the low-speed vehicle in front of the route of an own vehicle is examined from the drive state information. When the low-speed vehicle is detected, a specified low-speed vehicle is set to be a vehicle to be noticed, and the vehicle to be noticed is detoured to search for a detouring route reaching the front of the vehicle to be noticed. Then, the destination arrival time when the detouring route is taken to travel by vehicle is compared with that when a current guidance route taken for driving, and a vehicle is guided to the detouring route when it becomes possible to reach the destination faster if the detouring route is taken to travel in the vehicle.
