PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil for diesel engines, in which the effect of addition of a flow improver is great and the lowering/worsening of output/fuel consumption is limited when used for the current diesel engine and which excels in environmental capability with little emanation of environmental pollutants resulting from combustion of the fuel oil. SOLUTION: The fuel oil for diesel engines contains 97 mass% or more of 6-28C saturated hydrocarbons, 50 mass% or more of isoparaffins in the whole paraffins, 70 mass% or more of isoparaffins in the≥20C paraffins, and 5-30 vol% of GTL having a sulfur content of 10 mass ppm or less.
