PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a granular agrochemical keeping the effect by the dissolution of a proper amount of the active component for a long period after applying to a paddy field or soil and containing a sustained-release base agent disappearing from soil by biodegradation. SOLUTION: The sustained-release granular agrochemical is produced by preparing a resin emulsion obtained by emulsifying a scarcely water-soluble biodegradable polyester resin as a dispersoid exhibiting solid state at normal temperature and mixing the resin emulsion with other base material before the kneading step in extrusion granulation. The dissolution rate of the active component is adjustable by adjusting the compounding amount of the resin emulsion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
