PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor having such structure that utilizes lubricating oil effectively to improve durability and reduce noise. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a compression mechanism for compressing fluid containing lubricating oil and a high pressure chamber having an oil storage part in which the fluid compressed by the compression mechanism is led and at least a part of the lubricating oil contained in the fluid is separated and stored. A communicating hole is provided in packing between a vertical and lower space of a rear part side plate forming an operation chamber of the compression mechanism and the oil storage part. Furthermore, an introduction hole for leading the fluid from the compression mechanism into the high pressure chamber is provided above the packing so that a part of the fluid from the compression mechanism flows into the high pressure chamber through the introduction hole to prevent breakage of the packing by pressure.
