PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor having such structure that utilizes lubricating oil effectively to improve durability and reduce noise. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a compression mechanism for compressing fluid containing lubricating oil and a high pressure chamber having an oil storage part in which the fluid compressed by the compression mechanism is led and at least a part of the lubricating oil contained in the fluid is separated and stored. A communicating hole is provided in packing between a vertical and lower space of a rear part side plate forming an operation chamber of the compression mechanism and the oil storage part so that the lubricating oil flowing into the space flows into the oil storage part.
